Vicki June West

Vicki West, 63, of Raleigh, NC passed away on October 18, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Dexter, MO to Betty (Davis) Dolphy and Russell Davis, both preceding her in death. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Richard West and brothers (wives); Terry (Tracy) Fritts of Broken Arrow, OK and Steve (Cindy) Davis of Hurley, MS. Vicki received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Palm Beach State College and Bachelors Degree from the University of North Carolina. She worked as a Registered Nurse and Trauma Center Nurse Case Manager at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh. In retirement, she loved traveling, quilting, cheering for the Carolina Hurricanes and caring for her pet dogs. She also did volunteer work for animal rescue and adoption charities. A Celebration of Life Service (informal dress) will be held on Sunday, November 7th from 3 pm to 5 pm at the clubhouse of the Kildaire Farms Racquet and Swim Club, 302 Pebble Creek Drive in Cary, NC.
