HOLLY SPRINGS – Thomas “Tommy” Avent, II, 52, passed away at his home on Monday. Born in Wake County, he was the son of the late Thomas Watson Avent. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn D. Avent of Holly Springs. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 5th at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. In addition to his mother, Tommy is survived by his longtime companion, Yvonne Renfrow of Lillington; sister, Laura Wood (Les) of Holly Springs; brothers, Anthony Avent (Lisa) of Holly Springs, Matthew Avent (Glenda) of Holly Springs; nieces and nephews, Christin Avent, Erica Hoskins (Tyler), Erin Wheeler (Chris), Garrett Wood (Morgan), Elaina Wood, Jenna Avent; great-nieces and nephews, Greyson Avent, Lennon Montgomery, Kennedy Hoskins, Jordan Hoskins, Maret Wheeler, Brooks Wheeler.
