Susan Watson Gay

Susan Watson Gay, 63, passed away at home after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. Susan worked for the State of North Carolina for many years. She was a native of Wake Co. the daughter of the late Sterling and Betty Woodall Watson. There will be a Graveside service at 11:00 AM Wednesday May 31, 2017 at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens which will be officiated  by her uncle Rev. Emerson Woodall. Along with her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Gay, Sr., and a daughter, Tina Louise Lamm. Susan is survived by her son Chris Jones and wife Jennifer; brothers, Samuel Watson and Joe Hargis; three grandchildren , Megan Brady, Christina Jones and Tyler Jones and sister in law Candace Lynn and extended family. The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
