Steve Owen

ANGIER – Stephen Nelson “Steve” Owen, 78, passed away on Thursday at Windsor Point in Fuquay-Varina. Born in Harnett County, Steve was the son of the late Dick Owen and Millie Mabry Owen.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 30th in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow at Sandy Grove Cemetery, Angier. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 PM at the funeral home.

Steve is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Julia Peed Owen; daughter, Felecia Owen (Leila); son, Nelson Owen; second son, Ashely Gilliam; grandchildren, Trent Kistler (Biss), Brittany Wall (Phil), and Rebecca Wall; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kistler and Owen Kistler.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Owen Wuester; and brother, Ricky Owen.
