Sara Catherine Cumbee Rogers

Sara Catherine Cumbee Rogers, 81, died Thursday at her residence.  She was a retired project manager with ITT and a veteran of the US Army. Surviving are her son, Donald Rogers and wife Brenda of Garner; sisters, Carolyn Harvey of New York and Frances Rhea of South Carolina; brother, James Cumbee of South Carolina; grandchildren, Danielle Pascua and Kayla Rogers; great-grandchild, Leilani Pascua. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Nelson Rogers; son, James Randall Rogers; brothers, Edward Cumbee and Donald Cumbee; sister, Mary Jo Alcantara. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.  Interment will follow at 3:30 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Youngsville, NC.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 - 2:00 pm Sunday prior to the funeral service.
