Ruth Parrish Bellamy

RALEIGH - Ruth Parrish Bellamy, 90, went to be with the Lord Wednesday. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rena Gardner Surcy. Mrs. Bellamy was a life-long member of the Willow Spring Primitive Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Willow Spring Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Willow Spring. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bellamy is predeceased by her first husband, James E. Ed Parrish, second husband, L.G. Bellamy, son, Glenn Rambeaut, three sisters, two brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Anne Parrish Nowell of Garner; grandson, Allen Nowell of Garner; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Rambeaut, several nieces and nephews, also a special Poodle named Angel. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and nurses of Laurels of Forest Glenn and a special nurse, Mary Petersen for the excellent care they provided to Ruth.
