Roy Lee Nipper

RALEIGH – Roy Lee Nipper, 85, passed away May 20, 2016. Roy retired as a dispatcher for Overnite Trucking. Graveside service will be at 3:00 PM Monday May 23, 2016 at Montlawn Memorial Park. Roy was preceded in death by his first wife of 59 years Ruby Nipper; brothers, Clyde and Ivan Nipper. Survivors include his wife Marie Nipper; son, Roy Michael Nipper and wife Paige; daughter, Wanda Nipper; grandchildren, Michael Nipper and wife Cassy, Todd Nipper and wife Tracey and April Baker and husband Bradley; seven great-grandchildren; step-daughter Vicky Jones and husband Tom; step-sons, Ricky Surles and wife Donna, Randy Surles; and four step-grandchildren. The family will receive family and friends Monday from 2 – 2:45 PM prior to the service at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
