Ronnie G. Honeycutt

FUQUAY-VARINA – Ronnie Gerald Honeycutt, 67, passed away on Sunday at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh, surrounded by his loving family. A native of Johnston County, he was the son of the late Louis Buford and Mary Rebecca Honeycutt. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church, Angier at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Honeycutt Family Cemetery, Graham Pond Rd., Angier. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 42 years, Brenda Hardee Honeycutt, daughter, Michelle Giles and husband, Tony of Fuquay-Varina; son, Brent Honeycutt and wife, Christa of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Karli and Kelcey Honeycutt, Taylor, Mandy Lynn and Josh Giles; sister, Grace Smyre (Glenn) of Raleigh; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his sisters, Judy Stancil and Shelvie Jean Honeycutt; and a brother, B J Honeycutt. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday night at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church, 4440-A Piney Grove Church Rd. Angier, NC 27501 in Ronnie’s memory.
