Robert Kittrell Summers, Jr.

RALEIGH - Robert K. Summers, Jr., 83, passed away Thursday August 18, 2011. Robert worked for many years servicing printing equipment. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army. Memorial service will be at 3:00 PM Monday August 22, 2011 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends after the service. Robert was preceded in death by a grandson, Kittrell Blake and a great-grandson, Andrew Summers.Survivors include: his wife of 51 years; Betty Shepard Summers; three daughters, Frances Kiblinger and husband Vern, Susan King and husband Doug and Sallie Lee; three sisters, Lib Hilliard, Dot Carmichael and Rachel Moore; two grandchildren, Danielle Perry and Dena Blake; and two great-grandchildren, Haylee Summers and Angel Bullock.
