Patricia Ann Cherry Summerville

Patricia Ann Cherry Summerville, 78, died at her home Friday morning. A native of Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Paul and Annie Cleta Powers Cherry. Prior to retirement in 1998, she was on staff with the NC General Assembly. Funeral services will be Monday, August 15, 2016, 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Church of Garner. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.  Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth O. Summerville; daughter, Karen L. Summerville; son, Mark K. Summerville; one grandchild, Alex Summerville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Garner, 503 Lakeside Drive, Garner, NC 27529 or to the Summerville Family Forest Research Fund, NC State University College of Forest Resources.
