Michael R. Stancil

SMITHFIELD – Michael Reuben Stancil, 45, died Thursday at Rex Healthcare. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends from 2:00- 3:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Russell and Rita Stancil; son, Kendall D. Stancil and his mother, Renea Stewart; sisters, Deanna L. Holt; step-sister, Melissa Kennedy; step-brother, Christopher Norris. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Holt Stancil. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association, 2418 Blue Ridge Rd., Ste. 206, Raleigh, NC 27607.
