Mattie Ruffin Keys

Garner- Mattie Ruffin Keys, 93, died Thursday at her home. Born in Edgecombe County, she was the daughter of the late Mack T. and Ella Thomas Ruffin of Tarboro. Mrs. Keys was a charter member of First Presbyterian Church of Garner. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday at First Presbyterian Church of Garner. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 am at the church prior to the service. A committal service will be held at 3:30 pm Monday at Greenwood Cemetery, Tarboro, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank H. Keys; four sisters and two brothers. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Garner, 503 Lakeside Drive, Garner, NC 27529.
