Mary Virginia Hicks Smith

Mary Virginia (Hicks) Smith , daughter of the late Thomas Edward and Callie Hicks , passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at the age of 95. The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Friday December 9, 2016 at Garner Church of God with Bishop Melvin Schuler and Bishop J. Dan Hudson,  officiating;  Private interment will follow on a different date at Pinecrest  Memorial Garden, Clayton. She is survived by her daughter; Virginia Ann Seaberg and Husband Eugene Seaberg, sons; David William Smith of Raleigh NC, James (Jim) Edward Smith  and wife Julie Ellen Smith, of Garner NC, 15 Great Grandchilren, Ashley Stanley of Garner, NC, Jonathan Stanley of Garner NC, Joseph Biggie of Raleigh NC, AJ Amor and Walker Amor of League City TX, Mark Drew Smith, Jerdan Smith, Dallas Smith, Luke Smith, Isabella Smith, Issac Smith of Locust NC, Hunter smith and Blake Smith of Raleigh NC, Addison and Josh Brown of Garner, NC  and   eight grandchildren, Robin Smith and Patty Amor, Angelia Smith, Dawn Biggie, and Bryan Smith, and Jerry Smith, and Christie Brown, 2 Sisters Jessamine Hicks Gardner and Husband William Glenn Gardner, and Patty Sue Barker and husband Thomas Barker of Melbourne FL.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; William Ashley Smith, a son Robert Ray Smith, three sisters and five brothers, and 1 great grandson. While flowers are accepted, memorial contributions may be made to: Garner Church of God world missions Fund, 2208 Benson Road, Garner NC 27529.
