Marie Robinson

Marie Robinson, 49, passed away suddenly June 18, 2019. A native of New York who found a home in Raleigh. Marie’s entire life was based on her faith in her Savior Jesus Christ and it showed in everything she did. In addition to being a wonderful wife, mother, and friend, she spent her career working with children as a teacher. Marie was the daughter of Johannes Tysvaer and the late Wida Ramstad Tysvaer and is survived by her husband of 25 years, Peter Robinson; daughters, Anna and Faith Robinson; and son, Daniel Robinson; father, Johannes Tysvaer; sister, Lory Moyer and husband Greg; and brothers, Svein and Herold Tysvaer. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church prior to the service from 11:00 a.m.–12:45 p.m. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday June 22, 2019, at Calvary Baptist Church at Hwy. Ten-Ten and Hwy. 401. A private burial will take place after the service and then the family will return to the church, where a light meal will be provided for those who would like to gather and celebrate her life.
