Marguerite Newton Nordan

February 19, 1926 - May 30, 2011GARNER - Marguerite Newton Nordan, 85, passed away Monday. A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Willie S. and Thelma Adcock Newton. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.Burial will follow at HarnettMemorial Park.Surviving are her daughters, Sandra N. Honeycutt, of Clayton, Deborah N. McCall, of Garner, Susan N. Giles and husband, Dan, of Garner; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Paulette Cooper; and brothers, Harold P. Newton and Grady S. Newton.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leroy Nordan and a sister Maxine Strickland.The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
