Malisa Burch Baker

Angier– Malisa Burch Baker, 86, passed away on Saturday. Born in Wake County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Hima Smith Burch.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 17th in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow at Angier Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.

Malisa is survived by her son, Chris Jones (Cherie) of Lillington; grandson, Tyler Tackett of Knightdale; brothers, Daniel “Danny” Burch of Angier, Larry Burch (Pearl) of Ivanhoe, and Durwood Burch (Jane) of Richlands; sisters-in-law, Virginia Burch of Angier, Frances Burch of Angier, Nila Burch of Kansas, Bonnie Burch of Chapel Hill, and Kathy Burch of Chinquapin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie “D.H.” Baker; the father of her son, Chris, Willie “Buck” Jones; brothers, Etheridge Burch, Joe Burch, Connie Burch, Dennis Burch, Jr., Douglas Burch, and Paul Burch.
