Lyle Lewis Rogers

Lyle Lewis Rogers, 64, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his adopted family. A native of Nash Co, he was the son of the late Willie and Pearlie Graham Rogers. Lyle was a Technician/Arborist for a tree company before his health declined. There will be a Memorial Service Sunday Oct. 18, at 3:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Along with his parents Lyle was preceded in death by brothers and sisters; Lamar Willie Rogers, Herbert Lee, Jessie James, Nellie Mae, Bettie Jane, Barbara Jean, Queen Esther. He is survived by his partner of 17 years; Carolyn Price; brother, Leroy Rogers, Henry Truman, Joseph Roosevelt, David Paul, Charlotte Alberta and Lily Frances; stepson Ricky Brooks and wife Muriel; stepdaughter, Lisa Beasley and husband Richard; and stepson Joshua Skinner and wife Krystal; sisters and brothers; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, one of which was his best friend Samiyah (Mooey) Skinner. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, social distancing is required and face coverings are strongly encouraged.
