Louise Poole Tucker

Emma Louise Poole Tucker, died Monday, August 28, 2017 at UNC Memorial Hospital.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed being with her family.  Louise was a nanny for 35 years who cared for children and continued to be a part of their lives even while they were growing older. Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Bobby L. Tucker, Sr; son, Bobby L. Tucker, Jr. and wife Karen of Lillington; daughter, Pattie Dixon and husband, Houston of Benson; brothers, Tommy J. Poole of Mississippi and Leroy Poole of Clayton; sister, Marilyn Chris Poole of Laurinburg; five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Glenda Faye Spehar. A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Raleigh.  Interment will follow at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 pm Saturday, September 2, 2017.
