Linwood Thomas Hicks

RALEIGH – Linwood Thomas Hicks, 74, retired owner of Hicks Utilities, Inc. died Tuesday.  A native of Wake Forest, he is the son of the late Charlie and Estelle Honeycutt Hicks. He was a member of William T. Bain Lodge #231, a charter member of Amran Temple and the Amran Temple Wrecking Crew. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Friday at Fellowship Baptist Church, 5029 Old Stage Road, Raleigh. A 2:00 pm entombment with Masonic Rites will be held Friday at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens, 770 Stadium Road, Wake Forest, NC. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Carolyn Murray Hicks; daughter, Leanne H. Keith and husband, Tim of Wake Forest; son, Brian Hicks and wife, Heidi of Raleigh; sisters, Lynda Faye Creutzburg and husband, Earl of Wake Forest, Kitty Pulsifer and husband, Richard of Oxford and Ruth Murray and husband, Danny of Wake Forest; brother, Larry Hicks and wife, Ernestine of Raleigh; grandchildren, Lauren and Kendall Keith and Gracie and Allie Hicks. Visitation will be 6:00 -8:00 pm Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
