Lillie M. Hawley

ANGIER – Lillie Mae Hawley, 86, passed away at Universal Healthcare in Lillington on Tuesday surrounded by her loving family. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Alton and Mamie Smith Champion. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday to celebrate the life of Lillie Hawley at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Mrs. Hawley is survived by her daughter, Cynthia H. Lariz of Rocky Mount; son, Ronald Hawley and wife, Ginger of Magnolia, TX; brothers, Aaron Champion and wife, Billie Jean of Angier, James Champion of Liberty, Alton Champion, Jr. and wife, Marie of Angier, Donald Ray Champion and wife Helen of Youngsville; sister, Mary Morris of Myrtle Beach, SC; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents Lillie is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Hawley and a son, Gerald R. Hawley.
