Lema Crissman Halstead, 94, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth G. Halstead; children, Gary Halstead (Carole) and Janet Powell (Frank), along with four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, at 10:00 a.m. in the auditorium at Springmoor Retirement Community. Family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service.A burial service will follow at 12:00 Noon at Raleigh Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Springmoor Endowment Fund or the Hayes Barton Baptist Church Television Ministry.Arrangements by Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Rd., Raleigh, NC
