Lassie “Mae” Poole James

ANGIER – Lassie “Mae” Poole James, 72, passed away Thursday at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 28th in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow at Harnett Memorial Park, Lillington. The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Ms. James is survived by her sisters, Jessie Pearl Fowler and husband, Robert of Garner, Lue Harden and husband, Bob of Knightdale; brother, Gattis Lawrence Wallace and wife, Peggy of Garner; and many special nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Allen James; father, Clyde Shelly Poole; adoptive parents, Gattis Sedrick Wallace and Magnolia Poole Wallace; brother, Harold Shelly Poole.
