Landon Riddle Moore

RALEIGH - Landon Riddle Moore, 71, of Raleigh passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022, after several years of declining health. Landon was a native of Raleigh and was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Robert and Margaret Riddle Moore. He was a graduate of Broughton High School where he was a star athlete. Landon was inducted into the Needham B. Broughton Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004, and he also worked with the Broughton athletic program through the years. Landon was a graduate of UNC-CH and was an avid fan of Tar Heel sports. Carolina's last regular season victory against Duke was a highlight for him shortly before his death. Landon is survived by his sons, Robbie Moore and Troy Moore and his wife, Katya; his brother, Joseph Moore and his wife, Linda; and nephews, Joseph Moore and Christopher Moore. The family wishes to thank Landon's friend Dean and the caregivers at Pruitt Healthcare for their care and support. A memorial will be held at a later date.
