L. C. Floyd

GARNER- L. C. Floyd, 82, died Sunday. He was born in Fair Bluff, NC. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday at Highland Baptist Church. Entombment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Survivors include his wife of 53 years and 9 months, Thelma Lee Blackwell Floyd; daughter, Victoria (Vicki) Floyd Kuritz and husband, John Kuritz III of Raleigh; son, Chip Floyd and wife, Lisa of Clayton; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Highland Baptist Church Building Fund, 8524 Crowder Rd., Raleigh, NC 27603.
