Jewell Cooke Jeffreys

Jewell Cooke Jeffreys, 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 11 at Rex Hospital. Jewell was born January 27, 1935 in Franklin County, NC to the late Henry B. Cooke and Dalma Aycock Cooke. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Horace L. Jeffreys and sister, Betty Sue Collins. She is survived by her son Tim Jeffreys and wife Carolyn of Raleigh, NC, and her precious little doggie and constant companion Emma. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 15 at 3:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh NC 27604. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Private interment will take place on Monday.
