Jessie Lee Stutts Knight

CHARLOTTE – Jessie Lee Stutts Knight, 88, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Garner United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church one hour prior to the service. Jessie was born in Wake County on August 8, 1929 to Cary and Martha Stutts. In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her husband, W.B. Knight, Jr.; a daughter, Linda K. Lybrand; and by her brothers, Odell Stutts, Roland Stutts, and Paul Stutts. She leaves behind to cherish her memory a loving family which includes her daughters, Martha K. Baker (Joe), of Charlotte, Carole K. LeMay (Tom), of Raleigh; grandchildren, Mack Baker, Carey Baker, Patrick Collins, Anna Isgrigg, Christen Podhany; and 8 great grandchildren.
