RALEIGH – Jess Daniel Smith, 36, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019. A Celebration of Life service will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Healing Transitions, 1251 Goode St., Raleigh, North Carolina 27603. Jess was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Jones; paternal grandparents, John and Gloria Logan; and his paternal grandmother, Nancy Smith. He is survived by his parents, Charlene and Jeffrey Logan of Fuquay-Varina; sister, Sara Elizabeth Theissen and husband, Kristian of Raleigh; brother, Taylor James Smith and wife, Jenny Rose Cotner of Raleigh; half-sisters, Krista Troxell, Juliann Smith, Leann Smith all of Florida; half-brother, Griffin Troxell of Pennsylvania; nieces, Eleanor Cotner Smith and Torryn Nova Theissen; maternal grandmother, Rita Jones of New Jersey; paternal grandfather, Harold James Smith, Sr. of Florida; his family at Healing Transitions, and a host of extended family and friends.
