Jerry E. Coats

RALEIGH- Jerry Earl Coats, 70, died Wednesday. A native of Johnston County, he was the son of the late John and Sarah Hardee Coats. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Fuquay-Varina. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Fuquay-Varina. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Faye Coats; daughter, Beverly Senter of Garner; son, Jason Coats and partner, Ashleigh of Raleigh; three sisters; three brothers and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 pm Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 10005 Lake Wheeler Road, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
