Jeffrey Alan Simmons

Jeffrey Alan Simmons November 21, 1979 – December 15, 2019 Angier – Jeffrey Alan Simmons, 40, passed away at Duke University Medical Center on Sunday, December 15, 2019. Jeffrey was born November 21, 1979 to Jerry and Jewel Sorrells Simmons.  He is well known in the Burner community and was a regular participant in the Transformus Art festival. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 12PM, at Temple of Pentecost, 2312 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh, NC 27603. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh, NC.  The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:45AM prior to the service at the church. Jeffrey is survived by his parents, Jerry and Jewel Sorrells Simmons; a brother, Jonathan Simmons and wife, Sarah; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
