RALEIGH – Jasmine Alvarez Torres, 22, passed away on Sunday morning surrounded by her loving family at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh. Born in Wake County, Jasmine was the daughter of Carmen and Antonio Alvarez. In addition to her parents, Jasmine is survived by her sister, Maria Alvarez Torres of Raleigh; brothers, Antonio Alvarez Torres and Angel Alvarez Torres both of Raleigh; grandfathers, Antonio Torres of Atapan, Mexico, Aurelio Alvarez of Raleigh; nieces, Genesis and Penelope Garcia Alvarez both of Raleigh; aunts and uncles, Lilia Torres Montano of Atapan, Mexico, Margarita Torres Montano of Atapan, Mexico, Mauro Alvarez Pascual of Fuquay-Varina, Maria Zenaida Alvarez Pascual of Clayton, Armando Alvarez Pascual of Raleigh, Flora Lidia Alvarez Pascual of Clayton, Teresa Alvarez Pascual of Atapan, Mexico. Jasmine was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Magdalena Montano and Flora Pascual. Due to the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19 the visitation and funeral service that will be held are private.
