Janice Gregory Hawley

WILLOW SPRING – Janice Gregory Hawley, 90, passed away at her home on Saturday surrounded by her loving family. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Daily and Irma Ogburn Gregory. The family will hold a private graveside service at the Hawley Family Cemetery, Willow Spring. Janice is survived by her daughters, Sharon Hawley Hart of Willow Spring, Cindy Hawley Jones (Richard) of Newton Grove, Jennifer Hawley King (Murray) of Willow Spring, daughter-in-law, Shirley Houston Hawley of Angier; grandchildren, Shannon Hart Burch (Dan) of Willow Spring, Jonathan C. Hart (Natalie) of Willow Spring, Jessica Hawley Simmons (Ralph) of Angier, Loren Hawley-Pope (Nick) of Willow Spring, Chantel Jones Wilson (Jefferson) of Newton Grove, Richard Arlon Jones, II of Newton Grove, Jared R. Stone (Amanda) of Willow Spring; fifteen great grandchildren; sisters, Daphene Barnes of Angier, Lynette Baker of Virginia, Dee Holland (Brad) of Raleigh; brother, Warren Gregory (Gwen) of Raleigh; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Leon Hawley; son, Shelton L. Hawley; son-in-law, Kenneth Dean Hart; siblings, Eloise Mangum, Doward Gregory, Billy Ray Gregory, James Gregory, Ollie Fay Brown, Larry Gregory, Danford Gregory, Maynard Gregory.
