James Louis Champion

ANGIER–James Louis Champion, 83, passed away on Friday at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. Born in Duncan, NC, he was the son of the late Callie Champion, and Minnie Page Champion. James is survived by his children, Mark Champion (wife, Kaye), David Champion, Scott Champion (wife, Renee), Teresa Champion; grandchildren, Jamie Champion, Melissa Champion, Michelle Weinhardt; great grandchildren, Liam Weinhardt, Maya Weinhardt; sisters, Joyce Decker and Betty Woolard. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sisters, Estelle Burnett and Shirley Reavis, brothers Callie Champion Jr. and Leon Champion.
