James E. Byrd, Sr.

Jim E. Byrd, Sr., 67, passed away after a brief illness. Jim worked in the Auto Parts business for many years. He was a proud husband, father, brother and friend. Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Sunday Dec. 20, 215 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends after the service. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Byrd and a great grandson Trenten Byrd. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Doby and her fiancé Jonathan Moss; son, Jim Byrd Jr. and wife Mary; brother, Thomas Byrd and wife Pat; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
