James David Pate, Sr.

Clayton- James D. Pate, Sr, 65, passed away Monday May, 2, 2011. James was a self-employed exterminator. He served his country in the United States Army. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday May 5, 2011 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Jim was preceded in death by his wife; Elizabeth Pate. He is survived by a daughter; Rita Whaley and husband Dwayne; four sons; Benny Rowland and wife Cindy, Jeffrey Rowland and wife Lynn, Scott Pate and Jimmy Pate and wife Casey; a sister, Evelyn Moore and husband James; a brother, Clifford Pate and wife Ruby; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday from 6 - 8 PM. Arrangements by Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
