Irene Hamilton Gardner

GARNER- Irene Hamilton Gardner, 84, passed away on Friday. A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Hamilton and Berle Stoudamire Highsmith. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Jones and husband, Danny of Garner; sons, Allen Williams and wife, Phyllis of Willow Spring, Lanny Williams and wife, Beth of Benson, Danny Gilchrist and wife, Carol of Garner; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents, Irene is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gardner and a great-grandson, Matthew Jordan.
