Iona S. Smith

Garner -Amy Iona Sanderford Smith, passed away on Friday. A native of Wake County she was the daughter of the late Vance and Sarah Nine Sanderford. Funeral service will be Monday, 2:00 PM at Mt. Herman Christian Church, Garner. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Surviving are her sons, Roy Smith and wife, Tina of Garner, Donald Smith of Knightdale; daughter, Deborah Bunn and husband, Tony of Clayton, 20 grandchildren,26 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Smith; sons, Braxton, Zeb, Clyde and James Smith; and daughter, Alice Jean Smith. The family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:00 Monday prior to the service at the church. Services by Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
