Ingrid P. Kops

Ingrid P. Kops, a native of Germany, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2024, surrounded by family. Originally from Braunschweig, Germany, Ingrid had been in the US since 1957 raising a family with her late husband, Uli.

Mrs. Kops is survived by a son, Mark Kops and his wife, Kelly; grandson, Richard and granddaughter, Anna, all of Alpharetta, GA; daughter, Andrea Kops Scarboro and her husband, Brian; grandson, Alexander and granddaughter, Emily, all of Raleigh.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the “Alzheimer’s Disease Research Fund” at Duke University’s Duke-UNC Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. Checks can be made payable to Duke University with the name "Ingrid Kops" in the memo section and sent to:
