Hilda Matthews Weaver

ANGIER-Hilda Matthews Weaver, 72 passed away Tuesday, A native of Harnett County, she is the daughter of the late Lawrence Woodrow and Helen Walker Matthews. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 28, at 11:00 A.M. at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Angier. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Weaver is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gene Weaver; daughters, Gwen Collins and husband, Joey, Karen Weaver both of Angier; sisters, Marie Matthews and Cathy Matthews of Benson; brothers, Tommy Matthews, Johnny Matthews and wife, Diane, Jimmy Matthews and wife, Debbie all of Angier; grandchildren, Travis Collins and wife, Caitlin, Sully, Harry, and Madalyn Hamilton of Angier, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Gabriel Collins. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 P.
