Hilda F. Utley

GARNER- Hilda Franks Utley, 81, died Monday at Rex Healthcare. A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Lana Hilliard Franks. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Survivors include her husband, Norman S. Utley; daughter, Robin Utley Rudder and husband, Charles of Fuquay-Varina; son, Dale Utley and wife, Peggy of Garner; sisters, Margaret Williams of Raleigh and Shirley Huskey of Fuquay-Varina; grandchildren, Kevin Utley of Garner and Kaitlyn Utley of Chapel Hill. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aversboro Road Baptist Church, ATTN: Building Fund, 1600 Aversboro Rd.
