Henry Mclendon

Henry McLendon,78, passed away Monday at his home surrounded by his loving family. A native of the District of Columbia, he was the son of the late Henry V. McLendon, Sr. and Mary Kirk McLendon. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier on Thursday September 19th, 2019. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Angier. Burial will follow at Sandy Grove Cemetery. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ida McLendon; sisters, Barbara Tanner, Molly Daneron; and brother, Joseph McLendon. Henry is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Wells (David); sons, Henry McLendon, III (Maria), Tim McLendon (Sue), Bob McLendon (Debbie), and Kirk McLendon (Jen); sister, Mary Tanfield (Bob); twenty grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
