Harry Earl Barrington

JUNE 22, 1925 - APRIL 26, 2011 GARNER - Harry Earl Barrington, 85, died Tuesday at the Laurels of Forest Glen. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Cecil and Barbara Glasgow Barrington. Mr. Barrington served in the US Navy for 5 years, serving during WWII. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday at Hayes Chapel Christian Church in Garner. The family will receive friends following the service. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Jessie Flowers Barrington; daughters, Sylvia Waters and husband, Don of Garner, Margaret King and husband, David of Pfafftown; son, Eugene Barrington and wife, Kathy of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Elizabeth Barrington-Rohr of Decatur, GA, Jason Waters of Clayton and Lisa Waters of Raleigh; great-grandchildren, Owen Barrington Rohr and Breanna Waters.
