Gordon A. Dejarnette

GARNER - Gordon A. DeJarnette, 88, a retired Greyhound Bus driver, who served his country in the Army during WWII and was a recipient of the Purple Heart, died Wednesday. Services will be 12:00 PM Saturday in the Mausoleum at Montlawn Memorial Park. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Dorothy Ragsdale DeJarnette; sons, Shelby DeJarnette and his wife, Alease of Chesterfield, VA and Randy DeJarnette and his wife, Susan of Garner; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Highland Baptist Church, 8524 Crowder Road, Raleigh, NC 27603, where he and his wife were long time members.
