Gloria Sauls Baker

GARNER –Gloria Sauls Baker, 75, passed away on Friday. A life time resident of Wake Co., she was the daughter of the late Simon and Bernice Stephenson Sauls and retired as secretary of Vance Elementary School. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at Plymouth Church. Burial will follow at Middle Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. A loving wife of 55 years, mother of 51 years and grandmother of 29 years, she is survived by her husband Charles, son; , Chuck; daughters, Amy Bynum and husband, John and Laura Costa and 6 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. The family will receive friends Sunday 6 – 8 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
