Frank “Sonny” Blake

RALEIGH- Frank “Sonny” Blake, 71, died Tuesday at his home. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Frank and Hallie King Blake. Frank was a proud father and grandfather and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Saturday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Raleigh. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 pm prior to the service at the church. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Linda Blake; son, Shawn Blake; daughter, Crystal Wiseman and husband Andy; grandchildren, Larken and Kellan Wiseman; one niece and 3 nephews. In addition to his parents Frank is preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Jean Holland; brother, Allen Blake.
