Floyd Spivey, Jr.

Floyd Spivey, Jr., 77, died Tuesday. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at the Cumnock Graveyard near Sanford. Survivors include; daughters, Pamela Barden of Apex and Wendy Basinger of Cary; son, Greg Ward of Apex; brother, Wayne Spivey (Norma) of Sanford; grandchildren, Sean Green (Andrea), Gabe Basinger, Ethan Basinger, Sydney Basinger and Savannah Basinger; great- grandchildren, Mila and Kyler Green. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Spivey; brother, Jack Spivey and sisters, Mary “Sissy” Beal and Carolyn Sterling. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.
