Raleigh-Everett Daniel Dan Lassiter, 70, passed away Wednesday at the WilliamDunlapHospiceCenter of Wake County. Dan, a native of Wake County, retired fromN.C.D.O.T. after 30 years of service.Survived by his wife of 44 years, Sandra Johnson Lassiter; daughter, Dana Carroll Lassiter of Raleigh; son, Rusty Everett Lassiter and wife, Maria of Benson; sister, Frances Couch and husband, Vance of Raleigh; grandchildren, Brittany Blinson, Zack and Luke Lassiter; nephew Danny Orr of Raleigh.
