Ethel Stevens Wallace

GARNER - Ethel Stevens Wallace, 91, passed away after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Needham and Sadie Chesson Stevens. Ethel lived and worked in Garner for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Royal Wallace, Jr., a daughter Marty W. Bumgarner and 2-siblings. Memorial service will be at 11 AM Sat. April 5, 2014 at Garner United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends after the service. She is survived by her daughter, Pat W. McClure and husband Jim; son, Mike Wallace and wife, Jan; and five grandchildren, Lindsay Wallace, Sara McClure, Virginia Bumgarner, Katie Bumgarner and Hannah McClure and 2- step-grandchildren, David Brown and wife Jess and Heather Brown. She is also survived by Virginia and Katies father, Bill Bumgarner of High Point.
