Elsie Gray Oneal

Elsie O’Neal, 70, passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side.  She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Annie Pope.  She was a CNA for many years. In addition to her parents she is also pre-deceased by her son, Joseph Percy O’Neal Jr, her sister; Audrey Allmon, and three brothers; Carl, Archie, and Jimmy Pope. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner.  Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, beginning at 10:00 AM. She is survived by her husband Robert Leasure of 24 years; three sons; Danny Lee O’Neal, Randy Gill O’Neal and wife Teresa, Allen Wayne O’Neal and wife Pam; two sisters; Margie and Patsy Allmon, two brothers; Bobby and Roy Pope.  She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and a few great-grandchildren.
