Edith Marie Patterson Holmes

Edith Patterson Holmes, 70 passed away at home Feb. 21, 2017. Funeral service will be Saturday at 12:00 noon at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial to  follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Clayton. Along with her parents Elmus and Annie Patterson, Edith was preceded in death by her husband; Ronzie “Doc” Holmes and a sister Etta Alston. Surviving are daughters, Tina Howell and husband Kenny, and Crystal Holmes; sisters, Faye Paynter and husband Earl, Jetty Paynter, Margaret Newton and husband Harry and Lessie Remsburg; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 – 12 noon at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
