Douglas C. Stallings

GARNER - Douglas Clinton Stallings, 92, retired owner and operator of Stallings Wrecker Service, died Friday.A native of Johnston Co., he was the son of the late Haywood and Sarah Stallings. A World War II US Army Aircorp Veteran, he was an active member of the Garner Advent Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Garner Advent Christian Church.Burial will follow at Montlawn MemorialPark. Surviving wife of 62 years, Georgia Narron Stallings; daughter, DeAnne Stallings Moore and husband, Chris of Clayton; son, Douglas Stallings, of PA; and three grandchildren Lindsey, Kirby, and Sydney Moore.He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kasie Leigh Moore.The family will receive friends Sunday 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 1305 Navaho Dr., Raleigh, NC 27609.
